In season one's, "Just One Happy Family," Endora is shown in the refrigerator. The butter she is sitting on is named after Richard Albain, the special effects director. Obviously the crew had fun with this one!

These aren't really special effects, but they were rooted in reality: EM was a big fan of horse racing, so some of the horses' names popped into the script. When Sam was pregnant in Season 6, she was in a phone booth and there was a heart drawn in it with "B.A. & E.M." (for Liz and then-husband, Bewitched director/producer Bill Asher).
