Money talks. After all, why would Fox revive a show (Family Guy) that had they'd cancelled three years earlier?? The answer: Those Family Guy DVD boxsets made lots of money.

ya they still make boatloads, i dont think they would have stuck with it thislong if it didnt or put this movie out

A while back I saw a profile of Sam Simon, one of the Executive Producers of "The Simpsons," and they said that he pretty much never has to work again becasue of all the dough he's made from his piece of the show.

So someone is making money off of the Simpsons.
