View Full Version : Does the Simpsons still make money? noveel 05-29-2007, 09:48 PM I'm guessing like Family Guy, it makes most of it's money from syndication, DVD sales, and merchandising Dr. Thong 05-29-2007, 10:29 PM They wouldn't be doing it if they weren't making money at it. How many shows run 18 years?? And how many 18 year old shows have a feature film based on them?? Money talks. After all, why would Fox revive a show (Family Guy) that had they'd cancelled three years earlier?? The answer: Those Family Guy DVD boxsets made lots of money. bigflames 07-04-2007, 01:42 PM ya they still make boatloads, i dont think they would have stuck with it thislong if it didnt or put this movie out TJL 07-04-2007, 02:46 PM A while back I saw a profile of Sam Simon, one of the Executive Producers of "The Simpsons," and they said that he pretty much never has to work again becasue of all the dough he's made from his piece of the show. So someone is making money off of the Simpsons. ;) simpsonslover565 07-08-2007, 07:52 PM they have to sixfingers 11-06-2010, 08:26 PM Like Troy McClure said, it would keep going until it became unprofitable. |
