I just saw this movie this past weekend and it was very good. Will was a salesman selling machines for doctors to use. I forgot what kind of machines they were. He had a son who is his real life son. His son is adorable. Thandie Newton was Will's woman in the movie. She played in the movies Crash, Norbit, Mission Impossible 2. I felt bad for Will's character because he didn't make enough money selling those machines so he could take care of himself and his son. He ended up homeless which was sad but he changed his life around when he got a job at a brokerage firm. This movie was based on a true story and i read about the guy in Jet magazine who Will portrayed and the guy was raped in a public bathroom while his son was with him because they were homeless at the time. That was so horrifying to read about. There are some sick people out here.

I really enjoyed this movie too. Will Smith and his son were both terrific. The extra DVD features about the real guy, were interesting.

This movie was by far one of the best I had seen in 2006!!! I loved Will Smith in it, and his son was just adorable!!! Great story, great acting!!! I want to buy the DVD! The story is so inspiring! :)
I wished it was nominated for best picture at the Oscars! :)

This movie was the best done movie I've seen in a long time. Will really showed me that he's a really great actor. And you gotta give it up to his son he did a great job at such a young age. The movie explored real life. If you wait and nver give up you will get the good things in life is what this movie taught me. i really felt like crying when they had to sleep in the bathroom.

I saw this when it came out the premier week. I also have the DVD. Yeah, it was sad, and it was meant to be. I hated the part where they went to their apartment and they were locked out. They had to sleep in a bathroom, now tha was messed up. But the part that was kind of phony even though this movie is based on real life, was when he went to that job interview with paint on him. I can't believe he wasn't turned away in that professional environment.

We saw this in programing class last week. It was enjoyable, but there was a lot of leading up to the job, and him having the internship was only a little chunk of the movie. It should have been spread out more or something, but it was nice.
