Which shouldn't be surprising, given the production staff on this episode...Madelyn Davis and Bob Carroll Jr (producers) and William Asher (director) did alot of episodes of I Love Lucy. :) Marc Daniels, who directed alot of I Love Lucy episodes, directed a bunch of Alice episodes too.

Am I the only one who was just speechless at how Desi looked? I couldn't even place where I knew him from for the first part of the show. I know people age over 20 years, but man he reeeeeally aged...I thought it was sad to see. :( I'd rather remember him as younger, vibrant Ricky.

Dezi definitely aged badly. I wonder how old he was then?

According to IMDB he was born 3/2/1917, and this espisode was in 1978 (not sure what month)---so was either 60 or 61.

But he looked more like he was already in his 70s.

That is still pretty young. Desi Arnaz looked about 80 in this episode.

Yeah, it actually kinda creeped me out when I realized this person really going downhill was Desi.

I thought it was hysterical when Paco and Mel tried to get into a fist fight. I was laughing out loud at how ridiculous they both looked. LOL

How could you not see that was Desi Arnaz right away? He has a distinct look about him. Even in his old age, he still looked like the "young" Desi.
