I change mine periodically. My first ones were always Stewie from Family Guy. He's my guy. :lol: Then, I use Looney Toons characters. My avatars usually go towards cartoons. However, there is the rarity of I Love Lucy and pics of my son as far as real people in my avatar. I also had Sophia Loren at one time as well.

Mine should be self-explanatory. :D

My current avatar is an (older) Dick Dale, aka King of the Surf Guitar. Powerful, unique instrumentals. I think he used 'power chords' before there was such a thing. His music has a unique blend of middle eastern rhythms, and that twangy, surf, So. California 60's sound. As I mentioned in another thread, his music was a precursor to groups like the Ventures--whose work seems a bit too polished and 'tame' by comparison; Dale had a kind of edgy, 'in your face' quality to it. "Shake and Stomp", "The Victor" and "Surf Beat" are some of my favorite pieces that he wrote/played.

I just love Bewitched...in particular, the love story between Samantha and Darrin Stephens (as played by Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York). I've changed avatars a few times but they've always been Bewitched ones.

I go through a lot of avatars. :lol: My current avatar is of The Bee Gees (Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb). They are one of my favorite musical acts. The soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever is my fifth favorite album of all time and I love the movie too. They are also the older brothers of Andy Gibb (the young boy in Sharop's avatar) who died 19 years ago at the very young age of 30. :(

The very beautiful gal in my avatar's real name is Stephanie Kramer (stage name: Stepfanie Kramer)... she played Dee Dee McCall on my all-time fave cop drama show, Hunter. I'm assuming the photographers wanted to do a spicy photo shoot with Stepfanie in her McCall character. This picture in particular was shot around the time Hunter started their third season, back in 1986. I don't have sexual/romantic feelings for females, but DAMN she was SIZZZZZZZLIN'.

Normally my avatar has Mr. Jack Nicholson, the love of my life in them, but since Mr. Charles Nelson Reilly just passed away, I wanted to pay some homage to him and his character "Killer" from the movie All Dogs Go To Heaven, one of my favs as a kid.

I change my avvie about three times a week and I might change it tonight, LOL! Anyway, it's of Chris Richardson (5th placer) and Blake Lewis (runner-up) from this season of American Idol, my two favorite contestants this year and the sexiest ship EVAH. :heart:
