Turn your speakers up to a reasonable but not excessive level and test your ability to hear higher ultrasonic sounds.

Highest one I could hear was 17.7KHz
Don't worry, this isn't one of those flash files that jumps out at you when you turn your speakers up.

Turning up my speakers halfway, I can hear 21.1kHz.
The highest one I heard was 21.1khz. Not bad for being 28. Nice to know that loud music hasn't ruin my hearing yet, take that mom.;)

I posted this same information onto another forum I visit, and I liked how one member posted about these sound files/frequencies. I will just copy/paste them here:
Pages like these generally test your headphones or speakers, rather than your ears. You might still be able to hear higher frequencies, but your speakers (or even computer) can't produce them. I don't think it gives false positives though - if you can hear a tone, it DOES mean your ears are that good :p
I was trying to find a test I had taken before that had even higher frequencies, and I came across a discussion about this site. Apparently the files are encoded as mp3s, which cut off the highest and lowest frequencies to save space. So it's no wonder no one can hear the 22 kHz sound :p The site that had 23 kHz and more seems to have taken the files down, so try this one instead - I can hear 22 kHz as well as some of the lower frequencies.

Test like this are not accurate because your hardware has to be able to play it back!
I could hear 8Khz barely but nothing higher, all I heard was artifacts from the voice card,I didnt hear the tones......
