which actors and actresses from the world of hollywood cinema and film would you have liked to have seen appear in a sitcom, either as a supporting or main character? it can be anyone- be it from mainstream or alternative film- however, it must not be actors of who have already starred in a sitcom as a regular character. likewise, will smith, charlie sheen, michael j fox for example cannot be mentioned

I've always though Michael Keaton should return to the sitcom world. He really hasn't been doing a lot of movies lately.

i was thinking of greg kinnear- i mean he has appeared in a few comedy based flicks- mystery men, you got mail, as good as it gets, little miss sunshine to name, as well as appearing in friends. i always thought that as a non-comic, he does have a sense of humour and comes across as someone who could make that transition from the big to the small screen. it'd be great to see him in a sitcom role, and besides he has some relative experience working in tv on a few shows himself

Michael Keaton starred with Jim Belushi in a very very short lived 1979 sitcom called "Working Stiffs."

So he has had some sitcom esperience. Even though the show lasted only a month.

Alec Baldwin, without a doubt! The guy's hilarious.

Goldie Hawn (already mentioned in another thread and I agree!)

To some extent, I'd even say Kevin Bacon. He could be semi-serious, the comedic 'straight man'.

Jodie Foster Beautiful, lots of charisma--could play any type of role--a mom, a business woman, a professor, you name it!

Isn't he on 30 Rock? Or am I confusing him with anothe Baldwin brother or someone completely different?

Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore (although I think she would be better on a drama), Kate Winslet, Tobey McGuire
