Arnold was in High School in season 7 and this ep made Arnold look ******** for joking about something so serious. I turned it off right after I saw that scene, very stupid to put IN THE SCRIPT

I agree. Knowing Arnold, he shouldn't have been doing that. However, there are high school aged kids who behave (or misbehave) just like little kids. Age has nothing to do with maturity. But as far as Arnold, yep, so true, he was not the type of person to have been doing that. It was not in his nature.

Pearl having Epilepsy reminds me of Booker from Good Times who seemed to have everything that everyone else had: Lung cancer, he was adopted, etc. :lol:

Actually, Arnold was in the eighth grade when that situation took place. However, he was 14. So you may have a point to what you are saying. Maybe Arnold was just naive about the matter. I remember seeing this on NBC back in 85'. To me, it looked like he did not know that it was a serious thing. I thought that he thought that Karen was joking.

Kids that age can be cruel.
