episodes that feature Potsie singing songs? There are many episodes from season 3 and forward where the boys and Potsie sing songs at Arnold's. Will those scenes be deleted if the music rights aren't granted?

In the season 2 DVDs, the scene in the episode "Fonzie Joins The Band" where Potsie is singing "Splish Splash" was not cut, so I think that they will keep the scenes where the band is singing.

paramount has screwed season 2 up with the bad picture quailty scenes and everything else i am happy i did not buy season 2 it would have been a waste of money i bet paramount has gotten lotsof calls and complaints i told you all that season 2 sells will affect seeing season 3 later

I wouldn't call it a waste of money. Sure, all of the music has been stripped and parts of the video is less than stellar, but you do get to see all of the scenes that have been removed for the syndicated airings. For $20.00, it's worth getting.
