Girlfriend, I know your family this past year has had many issues related to their health. My prayers for you and your family never stop. When I say my prayers, I always ask God to take care of those who are needing Him so desperately, for those that I love and for those whom I have never met. Hugs go your way!!!! :bighug:

If I may ask, how old is she? My daughter is diabetic and reading this just scares me. :eek:

Really glad to hear the good news. Hopefully she'll try to take better care of herself now with that kind of terrible scare. Diabetes is a very serious disease - so many side effects!

Hi there Kelly C here.. i haev been on the boards for awhile due to my crazy hrs.. i just came across this board and I had to come in and say Im praying for all and I felt it was meant for me to stumble across this post.
My family is so disfunctional.. alwasy has been. i have a brother who is and has been in over his head with family and I have no good relationship with him but hes is in my heart and I just would like to ask people to pray for healing in my family. His name is Craig
Im also suffering from depression for yrs and I haev been okay but right now, with the stress of family and work, my OCD is acting up and I feel like im in a rut.

She is 55, but her diabetes was undiagnosed until yesterday, which is why she got so sick. She is doing so much better today. This was a miracle for sure!

Wow - sure is. No wonder if it was undiagnosed! Maybe this scare was a blessing in disguise (as long as her heart hasn't been badly damaged). Now they can treat the diabetes, blood pressure, cholestrol, etc. and get her health under control.

There was damage to her heart, which is why at first they thought it was a heart attack. They're running tests to figure out how badly it was damaged. Hopefully not too bad. They say with a special diet and insulin, she will be good as new. :)

I just read the update... so good to hear that she woke up and will recover!
