can some one please tell me witch season did Joey Lawence joiend Gimme A Break and how old was Joey when he joiend The Cast of Gimme A Break

Joey joined the cast during 1983 -84 which was the 3rd season. I'm not sure how old he was though. He was probably between 6 and 8.

They just showed his first episode yesterday here, someone said he was 7, to which he corrected them by saying he was "6 and 3 quarters"

I'm not sure how many people agree with me or not, but I think Joey Lawrence joining the series ruined the show to a degree. When Joey joined the cast the stoires began to focus more on Nell and Joey and less on Nell and the Kanisky girls. I perfer the first and second season where the stories focused more on Nell and the girls. Anyone else agree?

Yea I agree to some of that. The first 2 seasons were the best in the series. During the next 2 they expanded the cast. Some additions were okay but they did take something away from the whole point of the show which was supposed to be about Nell and the Kanisky family. Of course after Dolph Sweet died the show just collapsed completely especially that 6th season when Nell and Addy went to NY.
