View Full Version : A question regarding episode "Eleanor's Return"...
Ireneparalegal 05-22-2007, 03:14 PM Larry was to run inside naked. He knew that. Why then did he make a face as if he was embarrassed after he did it? He runs into the room. Then you see him peer out of the room with the door covering him and he is AGHAST!!!!!  at what he just did.
He DID NOT KNOW the party was for Jack afterall. Larry was not in the room when Jack found out the party really was for him. So, why all of a sudden did Larry react as if he knew his streaking was in vain??????

Never thought of that one, I was thinking it was because Jack all of a sudden was trying to stop him from doing it. I would have to watch that episode again

I watched it out of the blue last night and I knew abt that part so I watched it REAL GOOD to see if I missed something that would explain the reaction. But Larry went to the room and immediately made that face. He never looked at Jack on his way to the room and appeared to not pay attention to Jack.
So, yeah, you would have to see the episode to see what occurred. I think you will agree with me that there was no reason for Larry to have that quick of a reaction.
sunshinefizzy 05-22-2007, 05:10 PM I think because Jack was supposed to be streaking with him.

Jack was supposed to "give the signal" by getting the party goers to sing "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow"...however, the group ended up singing "For HE'S a jolly good fellow" and with that, Larry came in.

Yeah, but he was also supposed to streak with Larry. That's why his reaction was like that.

You know, I didn't catch the beginning, so that must be it. I know that Jack and Larry "conspired" but I don't remember the details, just that Jack was supposed to make that cake outta wood chips and Larry would streak.

The funniest part was that Larry was running from outside to Jack's bedroom, and that Jack was supposed to run from his bedroom to OUTSIDE. Were there clothes waiting for him out there, or was he just supposed to stand there nude??
By the way, who said "Naked is dirty... nude is art." ??

It was Chrissy who was supposed to give the signal and not Jack. He was gonna streak with Larry so when he didn't do it, Larry got embarassed for streaking all alone and looking like a fool.

I think it was that Photographer who wanted Jack to pose nude in that magazine when Jack went looking for a job during the second season.
SlayerShel 08-13-2007, 06:47 PM I was also under the impression that Jack was supposed to streak too, and Larry's reaction was because he noticed Jack didn't do it too.
