Roseanne - Roseannes Father, Dan
Mamas Family - Aunt Fran
Golden Girls - Blanches Father, Sophias friend who wanted to commit suicide with her there (not really a death but dealt with death)
Cheers - Coach (did he just die off the show or did they deal with it? I forget)
8 Simple Rules - The Father
Different Strokes - Todd Bridges character deals with his parents death in one episode (long after their death but it was the story line)
Facts of Life - Some girl dies (special guest) think it was suicide or drugs
Family Ties - Mallorys friend dies and her mom treats Mallory like her daughter, Alex friend dies and he is talking to a shrink
Home Improvement - Als mom and I think one of Jills parents

on CHEERS Coach also died; but they didn't deal with it. It's the episode where Woody comes, and he asks for Ernie Pantuzo. Sam says "Oh I'm sorry, I guess you never heard. Coach passed away a couple months ago". And later; Diane (who was away at the time) saw Sam and said "Oh Sam, I'm so sorr to hear about Coach". And Sam said "Yea, we're all gonna miss him".
But that's all they said about it.

on THE NEW DICK VAN DYKE SHOW once, Dicks uncle died.
Robs grandfather died once on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.
And, I'm surprised noone's mentioned what are probably the 2 most famous ones-the "Chuckles bites the dust" episode of THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW and the episode "Abbysynia Henry" on MASH (that's the one where Col. Blake dies).

On Full House, Jesse's grandfather from Greece died. His name was Popouli or something like that. It was a weird Greek name. Sorry to any Greek people I just offended.

On Frasier one of his Aunt's died, whom no one liked. Frasier was trying hard to come up with a Eulogy, so instead he used a song his father penned for Frank Sinatra (Sinatra regected the song previously) to give tribute to her at her funeral, it was a great episode.
