Mrs. Potts (headmisstress): "You do know we charge a tuition".
Jed: "Does thet mean money"?

Jed: "Well, ah figgered thet".
Mrs. Potts: "And it is quite beyond your means, I'm sure".
Jed: "Well m'am anythin's fine as long as it ain't over twenty five million".
Mrs Potts: "TWENTY FIVE MILLION DOLLARS"?
Jed: "Yes ma'm"
Jethro: "Yes ma'm"
Mrs. Potts: "You have twenty five million dollars"?
Jed: "Oh, not on me, no ma'm. My neighbor, Mr. Drysdale; he's holdin' it fer me; down t' his baink. And he ain't chargin' me nothin' ta do it".

from the pilot: (Pearl comes in the cabin)

Pearl-"Jed, Elly May came over t' my place and said y' sold th' swamp t' some oil company".

My favorite scene is when Granny breaks down the door to Mr. Drysdale's office. :lol:

I liked when that con artist lady dressed up like a gal from back home and was taking pictures of her & Jed with her cuckoo clock. I cannot think of her name, does anyone remember?

I think her name was Rita something.

In the episode where some think that smoking crawdads is smoking some kind of drug, Granny tells a policeman "first I need a little pot", referring to a cooking pot.

Jed Clampett: "Pearl, what d'ya think? Think I oughta move?"
Cousin Pearl: "Jed, how can ya even ask? Look around ya. You're eight
miles from yore nearest neighbor. Yore overrun with skunks, possums, coyotes, bobcats. You use kerosene lamps fer light and you cook on a wood
stove summer and winter. Yore drinkin' homemade moonshine and washin' with
homemade lye soap. And yore bathroom is fifty feet from the house and you
ask 'should I move?'"
Jed: ""I reckon yore right. A man'd be a dang fool to leave all this!"

"You're a millionaire."
(Jed) "Yeah, that's what that fellow Brewster called me. I didn't quite know how to take it."

he was talking to Pearl in the pilot. The dialouge was this: (Jed just told her Mr. Brewster going to pay him sixty-five million dollars for his swamp)

Pearl: "Sixty-five million dollars? Jed; you're a millionaire! A million-aire"!

Jed: "Yea; that's what that Brewster feller was sayin'. Ah didn't quite know how t' take it".

I wondered if anyone has any new lines or quotes they remember or like from the BH? Also, what were some of the running gags you enjoyed the most?

My fave line from the show is when Granny tells Jed that Jethro is eating them out of house and home. Jed says "All growing boy snack between meals" and Granny says "But he snacks between bites". Ha ha!

I liked the ep where Granny and Pearl throw Hog jowls at Mrs. Drysdale.
