I'm not really watching or recording Alice because it so chopped up and unenjoyable on ION, but if it is on I will watch it. If anybody thinks the George Burns episode was bad wait until ION shows this, if they haven't already. Flo has the hots for Telly's bald head, and Alice sings him a little song about himself!! Yes, he sucks Dum-Dums and does that "Who loves ya Baby: catch phrase. :crazy: I beginning to think Alice had more "special guest stars" than Lucy!!!:lol:

No Lucy is the queen of guest stars especially on Here's Lucy. Almost every episode on Here's Lucy there was a guest star. Like Linda Lavin I heard Lucy gave the guest stars a rough time and was demanding on them. If that was the case why did she have all those guest stars on there playing themselves.

The Telly Savalas episode was funny but hard to watch because you can tell the tension between Linda Lavin and Polly Holliday in that episode. It was the season opener and their friction was surfacing that season that led to Polly Holliday getting her own spinoff series in the middle of that season. That was season 4. The show just came off a great and funny season 3.

Art Carney, George Burns, Telly Savalas (and his brother George), Eve Arden (that one even said "Tonight's very special guest star, Eve Arden" before the opening theme song), Dinah Shore, Joel Gray, Robert Goulet, Jerry Reed, Donald O'Connor, Desi Arnaz, Meadowlark Lemon...I'm sure I missed a few. Most of them played themselves (Jerry Reed was on twice. The first one was pretty good, the other one not as good). Desi Arnaz and Eve Arden played other characters, not sure about Donald O'Connor.

The Telly Savalas one won't come up for another month or so, assuming ION keeps airing one episode of Alice a day, 5 days a week.
