I have a co-worker who buys me a strawberry parfait every Saturday. In the immortal words of Mrs. Bakerman (Bob Newhart Show), "Isn't that nice?" :)

We went to the Outback earlier this evening with my best friend and her husband. After we stuffed ourselves silly, her husband went to the mens room, or so we thought. He quietly picked up the dinner tab which had to be about $200. My husband recently installed carpet in a room in their home, and he wouldn't take any money for it. They told us tonight that they wanted to show their appreciation. It was a very sweet gesture.

I want to thank my brother, for inviting me to come over and watch the basketball game with him the other night, after he saw that I was getting agitated with one of my roomates. I was about to blow up, so you definitely saved my ass. I also want to thank my best friend Donna, for asking me out to dinner that same night. Sorry I wasn't able to go, but I can't wait until Monday. We'll have a great time as we always do when we're together!! :) Lastly, but not leastly, I want to thank Janice, for the PM I recieved from her today!! It was the first pm I've received in 9 days, so it was a very nice surprise. :D

I want to take this opportunity to thank the wino who helped me catch a punk who had just robbed a liquor store and knocked down an old lady the other night - I got into a foot pursuit and he was outrunning me by a good distance but failed to notice a drunk passed out on the sidewalk and he tripped all over said drunk and it allowed me to catch up and tackle/handcuff the thief. Winos are good for something after all lol

I just want to thank my one special guy friend for always being there, in his own way, and for being such a great friend. I've had guy friends before too, but not to the same level that our relationship is on. :)

I'm thankful for my boyfriend.

I want to thank my mom for always being there and being a sounding board when I need to work out a problem. She did this for me Sunday when I had a small problem with my teen-age son. She is the greatest.

Today while grocery shopping this lady was just so nice to me. She was just talking to me while we each were picking nectarines from the bin, she had this radiant smile and it just made me feel good. I love when I run into strangers like that. When they smile at you just because. When they seem to be happy. It just makes my day feel much better. Thank you lady.
