The Spurs move on to play the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference Finals after closing out the Phoenix Suns 4-2 with a 114-106 victory. I can honestly say that was the best game of the year. :D My man Manu Ginobili was incredible and give it up to Duncan too.

May 18, 2007 - Spurs win series 4-2
Spurs Set Suns in Six

The first half of Friday night's Game 6 Western Conference Semifinal played much like the series itself: Back and forth. By halftime the two teams changed the lead 17 times and were tied 20.
The Spurs held the lead for most of the second half and at one time commanded a 20 point lead. Phoenix would not go away quietly and put on a late rally in the final moments of the game to whittle the Spurs lead down to five. However, the Spurs would not let the Suns get any closer and extended the lead to eight at the final buzzer.

Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with his second straight double-double, scoring 33 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Tim Duncan tied a career and Spurs franchise playoff record with nine blocks while scoring 24 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Tony Parker was the team's second leading scorer with 30 points and added six assists.

The Suns were led by Amare Stoudemire's 38 points and 12 rebounds. Steve Nash finished the game with 18 points and 14 assists.

With the win the Spurs move into the Western Conference Finals and will play Sunday, May 20 at 2:30 p.m. in San Antonio. Click here to view the additional security procedures that will be in place at the AT&T Center.

Congratulations Spurs!! Utah has one heck of an uphill battle ahead of them. Anything can happen, but I just can't see them getting past San Antonio.

This is gonna be a great matchup between Okur, Duncan and Boozer and not to mention williams and Parker. But I think the spurs win this in 5 or 6 games.
