for my AP psychology class I have to do an in-depth personality project of a movie or tv personality. i chose chrissy snow. i have to analyze her from like, a freudian perspective and one of the things i have to do is make a short video for the class to watch. i'm gonna make a tape of like, many little clips. can anyone think of chrissy moments where her personality is revealed really well?

There's one problem with the subject of this study...Chrissy Snow has no "depth."

Queen, here you go to start you off:
The Oral the anal, phallic, and genital stage of growing up

Oral: "The Root of all evil", Chrissy reveals that she had oral fixations when she was younger. When she sucked her thumb she used to say "Nanny, nanny, nanny." My theory about the nanny, nanny part is that oral comes from breastfeeding. When she used to say that during oral fixation I think it was a way of feeling superiority because it is assumed that Chrissy is an only child so she got her mom's milk and noone else. You don't have to use my theory if you don't want to.

How about some scenes from "Chrissy's Hospitality" where she is all confused to why Jack and Janet are upset :lol:

And the scene from "And Baby Makes Two" when she ramble on about, "It was this week when this week was last week, etc.". Or any of her rambling sentences like, "The world is made up of two kinds of people..."

Anal:Well, this occurs in the second stage in life. It deals with toilet training. I do not see an example here because she does not fit the anal mode. See the first season episode where Jack was harrassed at Reagal Beagle and how she reacts to it.

Phallic: Where a man and a woman become aware of the private part. She appears to be okay with the male anatomy with the 1st season episode "It's only money" because while Janet freaks out about the fact Jack walks around in his underwear, she is the one making jokes about how she can tell it was a swimsuit because his underwear has giraffes on them. Her own anatomy is never mentioned so there is no reaction.

Genital: Where grown up sexual maturity occurs. I think you can show the class the episode "Janet's Promotion" cut to where they complain about men and their fascination with breasts. I think this is a good one to show for this one.

Oh, NREM sleep is something that happens in the sleep cycle where your not totally asleep, so some people sleepwalk when nervous so show them that clip from "No children, No dogs" in season 1. Also, she rationalizes and tells the reason for sleepwalking so that is also a good episode to show.

There were definitely so many to choose from. "Chrissy's Hospitality" is great, especially when she's at the hospital, where Jack and Janet think she's dying, and Chrissy is there.
