Yeah, there were a few scenes missing :) I think another scene missing was where he asked Vera about the monogram GB initials on his shirt, to which Vera says they stand for "God Bless". They also cut out the part of the credits that lists the guests (Duane R. Campbell was the only guest besides George Burns)

If I can find it, I have an original script for this episode I picked up on ebay years ago...would be interesting to compare it to the ION (or E! or TNN) airing

It is always interesting to hear what is cut out from the original episode.
