If you are married, would it bother you if your spouse talked on the phone to people of the opposite sex? I am talking about people who they may have met online and share a common interest with. The conversations can be frequent and lengthy at times but your spouse tells you they are not intimate in any way.

I'd talk to a bunch of girs in revenge.

I've talked to Brad (Little Mel) on the phone a few times, and my husband is just fine with it. In fact, they chatted a bit themselves. My husband is okay with it because Brad is half my age, lol. Also, he saw Brad's taped video Christmas greeting to me, and was very impressed with him.

My husband wouldn't be too keen on my talking to someone my own age. That's fine by me. He has a right to his feelings. Now me on the other hand, there's no way he's talking to another female. I'll be the first to say that it's a double standard. :D

I'm on the other end of that because I have a married male friend who I've known for about 17 years now and he calls me and we e-mail each other. I guess his wife doesn't seem to mind. Our relationship is strictly platonic and always will be.

That's great that his wife is so understanding. I'm just not wired that way. Fortunately, my husband has no desire to talk to other women anyway. He has his male friends, and I guess that's enough for him. He's not into the internet.

My closest internet friends are all male, lol. Brian Damage, Little Mel, Sonny (Walking Tall), Fleet, Solomon,TJL, AKA....I also consider TJ a personal friend. I've sent cards, books, music, etc to some of them and vice versa...we chat a lot in e:mail and PMs. My husband is just cool with it. He takes the stuff to the post office for me, lol....knows everyone by name.

I just laugh imagining trying to turn that around with us. *stikes up Buddy Holly* That'll be the day....when I die.
