Even though, all shows were getting stale in their later years, I think Sanford and Son would have had the best chance because when it ended in 1977, the ratings were still good. It ended because Redd Foxx walked away from the show to do the variety show on ABC. Good Times and Maude were cancelled.

I don't think any of them would have lasted into the new decade. All three shows were wearing out their welcomes toward the end, but at least they all went out while the going was still (somewhat) good.

good Times shouldn;t be on the list because it ended 5 months before 1980

IMO, none of them, but I thought Maude was the most likely--even though still very unlikely.

None of them because it was set in the 70s and going into the 80s would not work. Look at the Jeffersons, Alice, and One Day At A Time. When the 80s came in those shows were not as good as they were in the 70s when it came out. Throw Three's Company in the mix as well. Too many cast changes on the show and additions did not help. That would had happened with Maude and Sanford and Son. More would had added to the cast and it would not work. Good Times added more to the cast and the show got worse especially the heart and soul of the show, John Amos and Esther Rolle, were gone.

I agree 100% as I voted for Maude

it would've been funny to see Maude's reaction to the Reagan administration, but the show was already dying when it ended in 1978

I would think Maude cause her show also ended as she didn't want to do it anymore. S&S was already stale and GT had run its course.

Sanford and Son had a revival series in the 80's called "SANFORD" which means that the question should be between Good Times and Maude
