Does anyone know whatever happened to the new Police Academy movie they were supposed to be making? I made a thread about it a couple years ago when they had a press release about it.

He made it to (90) that's great and incredible cause there are some actors/actresses that don't make it to that age. He was funny in the police academy movies. I hope that he had a very nice birthday.

He's also in one of my all-time favorite movies, Tootsie. The scenes between him & Dustin Hoffman are hilarious!!

God bless him!! I agree, he was very funny in Tootsie. I also remember him as the original Frank Smith on General Hospital, Henry on Punky Brewster and the Police Academy flicks. Hope he has the best birthday yet!! :D

I agree, Jack! That's why PA's 5, 6 and 7 were somewhat empty but enjoyable to an extent.

When I met the still-gorgeous and very sweet Leslie Easterbrook at an autograph convention a couple of years ago in New Jersey, she said she was excited about making an 8th PA movie with the original cast members. Sadly, if PA 8 ever does go through, there will still be a void; an unfillable void with the passing of David "Tackleberry" Graf six years ago.

Hope he had a great day. Loved those Police Academy movies, lol.
