In today's episode, "Lucy is Jealous of Girl Singer," something has always bothered me. In the first scene, Lucy is vacuuming and Ethel enters, taps Lucy on the shoulder and says "Lucy, good morning." Lucy says "Shh! Ricky's still asleep!"

Why in the hell would Lucy be vacuuming if she was so worried about waking Ricky? Lucy and Ethel carry on a conversation in loud tones.

Later Ethel stomps on the floor and screams "I'll be right down Fred!" but Lucy doesn't say anything.

I've noticed that too. Maybe Ricky took one of those sleeping pills, Lucy is known for taking, and Lucy forgot about it.

You'd think the vacuume would wake him up alone.
