It seems that way to me. It use to be that she would just offer sugary sweet and positive messages to the singers despite if they were good or not. Lately, she seems to actually offer NORMAL critiques.

View Full Version : Has Paula Abdul improved as a judge??? Brian Damage 05-16-2007, 10:39 AM It seems that way to me. TripperFan 05-16-2007, 11:37 AM Yeah I've noticed she's really toned it down (thankfully). I've always liked Paula, but she was getting a little strange there. ;) Actually I think all of them have gotten better this season. Even Simon hasn't been as cruel (although 95% of the time I agree with him, sometimes he's come across just too mean). EmoJoe 05-16-2007, 02:16 PM maybe a little bit...not much though. i think she was pretty good in seasons 1-3, maybe 4 too. i find myself agreeing with Simon most of the time this season, although his comment to Jordin last night ticked me off. TVFactFan 05-16-2007, 02:32 PM She is still a REAL LIVE NUT Cactus Jack 05-16-2007, 02:48 PM maybe a little bit...not much though. i think she was pretty good in seasons 1-3, maybe 4 too. i find myself agreeing with Simon most of the time this season, although his comment to Jordin last night ticked me off. Yeah, ditto:nod: Paula would be good if she wanst so drunk and started ramblign about doughnuts while giving a critique Ireneparalegal 05-21-2007, 07:28 PM I don't know Brian, I seen an entertainment show last night that showed at least 30 clips of this season where Paula is copying almost word for word what Randy says. ("You were too pitchy" "You were all over with that song" " I don't know what you were singing but it sounded interesting") I couldn't believe she was still doing that crap. She did that a lot in season one. One main reason I gave up on the show. She can't give her own opinion. I wish they would make Paula give her critique FIRST and see what happens. I really don't think she knows what to say and is afraid of making her own opinions. |
