I had gotten the book, "Stay Tuned, Televisions Unforgetable Moments" and there is a part in it about Goodbye Farewell, and Amen and I just thought that this little section was interesting:

The finale earned a 60.3 rating and a 77 share, meaning 77 percent of the people watching television that night, at that time were watching the finale. One newspaper calculated that Hawkeye and Margaret's farewell kiss lasted 34.8 seconds and thus was a $522,000 kiss.
