I just happened to be googling Lisa and her children's names to find out any new or interesting information and I came across Clancy's name. Apparently she made the 9th grade Magnum Cum Laude (honor roll) at Coram Deo Academy...so does this mean she isn't being homeschooled?... i think so.

Lisa isn't a nutcase, she just goes overboard when it comes to religion. Yes, I agree, I'm glad her children are getting an outside influence and the experience of being with other teenagers in a school setting. Although I think Tucker is rebelling...Lisa won't mention what's causing her problems in not being able to do her "Coffee Talk" entries on her website. I hate to say this but she may be having marital troubles as well as trouble with Tucker. I still love Lisa though:)

I actually went thru the link and didn't see Clancy Cauble mentioned! But what I did see was one of Lisa's kids mentioned! Haven Cauble's name was mentioned in a poetry read thing. I think Lisa is a good Christian person, when I hear about all the Christian things she does or is doing I think to myself I should be more like that. I am a Christian but I could be better and I like the fact that Lisa goes out and witness to people that's what god wants you to do and I think it's great that she tries to grow in her personal relationship with god, I need to do more of that. Lisa's Christianity is the reason Lisa is my role model. I do agree that Tucker is rebelling I mean I know some ministers kids that have rebelled but I think Tucker isn't as bad as the ones I know. The one's I know they go out and drink and date guys that drink or do drugs at least Tucker isn't doing that. I thought the reason Lisa wasn't doing her coffee talk entries was because she is trying to take time to work on her personal relationship with god (sabbatical time) but I could be wrong.

Where did you all hear Tucker has been rebelling? What kind of trouble has he been in? I missed all this somehow.

Well I haven't heard that he is rebelling exactly, but he is trying to find his path in life and he doesn't want his parents to influence that I guess. That is what I heard a while back in one of her entries, so that's what I meant by that

If he is trying to find his own path in life, good for him. If Lisa Whelchel thinks that's rebelling, she's going to have a harder time with him when he's older. I'm not against Lisa and her way of life, but what she and her husband want, might not be what Tucker wants.
