I believe he cheated once back in the 70's and they worked through it, People can't keep beating a dead horse. She forgave him and that's all that matters, that‘s their marriage. I'm not condoning it at all, but every marriage and person is different, people make mistakes.

On the news years ago when that woman was suing him because she claimed that he was her father. That's how the whole thing about him cheating back then came out. But in the end he turned out not to be her father and she was punished (I forgot what the judge did to her) for filing a false claim.

The fact he was caught once, leaves one to believe that he cheated other times before and wasn't caught. Too many women stand by a cheating man, for financial reasons, because of low self-esteem, they don't want to lose "their man", etc. Others remain because they can get over the issue and move on. They may not forget, but they move on. Look at the wife of Ray Charles, she knew of his cheating ways, but as long as she was known as MRS. RAY CHARLES and she had the beautiful home, the financial gain, etc. she was ok with him doing what he did on the road, as long as it didn't interfere with her marriage to her man. LMAO! Too many women are like Hillary Clinton. I think Hillary remained because she saw the whole picture and knew someday she pursue politics later on (as she did) and made a professional decision rather than an emotional decision.

Everyone is different, some people choose to forgive their husbands and wives. Just because one person stood by their man/woman doesn't mean that you would.

You never know what happens in others marriages, you don't know the talks that they had or if she took her anger out on him in some way shape or form.

But with all the couples today divorcing for less reason than adultery, I find it hard to understand those people, who actually stay married with cheaters. I truely hate divorces, and even I would consider divorcing my husband (if I had one), if he cheated on me. Come on, people, it's not the 19th century anymore! Being divorced is better than being betrayed.
