Hello all, I'm new to the threads/board! I have watched unsolved mysteries practically since it came on the air (I was in second grade then). I've been lurking here for a while but finally decided to register. I looked through previous posts and did not see this mentioned so I figured I'd ask.

I am not sure of the names or the episode in which this mystery was profiled, so bear with me.

It was a story about a young boy going to a carnival/fair and disappearing. His mother was interviewed and stated there were several stories circulating that some local toughs may have shot or killed the boy by poisoning him, or by target practice shooting in a pond where kids were swimming. There was never any updates on the case that I've seen from watching it on Lifetime. I'm just wondering has anyone heard anything on this case? (or knows what Case I'm talking about)

Do a search for that name. As far as I know, nothing has come of the investigation but there are many people on this here site WAAYYYY MORE knowledgable than me regarding most of the cases.

that was one of the first segment to air when UM became a regular series (after it did a series of specials). Nobody has officially been charged for the crime, although one of the chief suspects, presumably the one whose name came up in all of the scenarios, was imprisoned for another murder. So if he's the one, at least he got some time behind bars.

Thanks. After some searching online I found the boy's name to be Jeremy Bright and he was missing from Oregon. Its a shame he was never found, or at least his remains.
