Don't get me wrong, I was impressed that the guy lost so much weight eating Subway sandwiches. However, after about 4 or 5 years or perhaps even longer, enough is enough! Ok Jared, we get it, Subway Good...McDonald's Bad!

I was tired of that guy five years ago!!! I totally applaud him for all the weight he lossed, but he's got about as much personality as a brick wall. lol! Once again, he is totally awesome for what he did, but yeah, I've definitely had enough of him on my tv screen.

He was actually here in Portland last week throwing out the first pitch for one of our minor league baseball teams. Me and my roomate Carl joked for about a half an hour about how much we wanted to go down there, and meet our idol Jared. We also made wagers about how close he'd come to the plate. I think I said he'd come within about 20 feet, while Carl gave him a little more credit, and said 13. lol! That was actually a really fun day. We about drove my mom crazy!! Ha ha ha!!

That campaign wore out its welcome the day it debuted. Enough is enough. I'm happy he lost the weight, but moveon.org

He's like the Energizer Bunny. I wanted to clobber that one after a few years too.

I guess I started to get annoyed by him after watching the documentary Supersize Me. That poor heavy girl looked for help and asked him how to lose weight and all he did was schill Subway sandwiches.

That's when you want to employ the Elvis Presley method of shutting the TV off.

he acts like Subway is the ONLY way to lose weight. switching from mcdonald's to subway is good but you have to exersize and eat right TOO.

oh and looking at the recent commercials, i think he gained a little weight again lololol.

I don't really like them. Except for the recent ones with Tony Stewart. All my friends know that I have a major crush on him so I love those particular commercials. LOL!

Actually, he doesn't bother me so much. I'm surprised he's lasted this long though. Usually a big company goes on to a new campaign after a few years. But I guess keep with what works.

Jared did exercise - he walked to the Subway store, which was several blocks or miles away from where he lived. And he ate the low fat sandwiches.

However, yeah, the novelty wore thin after the first couple of commercials. Now he's just obnoxious and rubbing it in our faces. His fifteen minutes of fame ended several years ago, but no one has apparently told him.

 He's everywhere, isn't he? It does seem like overkill. Back in 2000, when the Jared campaign first started, my sister and brother both worked at the Subway near our house. They were constantly asked questions about Jared and what sandwiches he ate that made him lose weight. They got sick of it very fast. :brent
