I checked the threads for the past year and couldn't find this post. Can anyone tell me which episode features the Chicken/Egg t-shirt? It was worn by Roseanne, Jackie and possibly Darlene and Becky in the same episode. I know the sizes would have to be different, but they all wore one at different times in the episode.

Someone did post some info regarding that infamous shirt. But I think they posted the facts behind WHY all three of them wore the shirt, not the episode. Though, I could be wrong, I can't remember all the posts. :crazy:

In one interview, Roseanne says that the character had to wear that shirt if their character did something wrong in an episode.

Well i read somewhere that the reason why they had the chicken and egg t-shirt in the show alot was because tom arnold hated roseanne in it.So after the divorce she added it into the show alot,however she spoke about it recently saying it was just a thing that they added into the show?? so who knows?

I think I heard that Roseanne thought that the shirt was the ugliest thing on the planet, so she just had to feature it. I think it first appears in the Season Two episode "Sweet Dreams" when Becky is seen wearing it. There's also a Season Five episode where everyone wears it, and it appears in a picture frame in the Season Nine episode "Satan, Darling."

I must admitt though its a cool thing it got us talking lol.I liked that episode where everyone is wearing the shirt thats funny!!:lol:

I see the episode in my head of where they are all wearing that shirt, just can't for the life of me remember what it was.

It's the last episode in season 5.

I think I also saw the chicken/egg design on one of Roseanne's aprons, but I can't recall when.

Last night they showed Jackie wearing it in the episode that Roseanne gets her tooth knocked out.
