I love the show(mwc is my favorite show) but I wish they would have stayed closer to seasons 1-6 more. Every season is different, for an example season 1 and 2 you are just getting to know the family, seasons 3 and 4 is where you start to learn how much Al hates his life and I found seasons 3 and 4 to push the lines, which i like btw(the camping show)Season 5 and 6 you learn how crazy Steve And Marcy are. They had a great thing going than seasons 7-11 just seemed goofy, i liked them and all but it seemed like they were trying to hard to make the audience laugh. This all being said there has never been a show like MWC.

I just think MWC went for only the one season too long. Season 9 is my favourite and 10 isn't too bad except Peg's parents are in it a fair bit. Obviously I have been waiting a long time for S9 to come out on DVD and looks like I still have a year or 3 to go.

Well i believe in Germany they have seasons 1-11 already released plus they are uncut unlike the american dvds. Im gonna buy them or the norway ones(way better covers) when i get a region free dvd player.

Like most shows, it went downhill as it went on.

To me the show stopped being good when it became a parody of ITSELF instead of a parody of a normal family sitcom ( Ive never seen the last season )

Jefferson Darcy was mcws version of Chachi as the character who took the rap for killing the show. The show really started jumping the shark in 1993 started to become no more than goofy live action cartoon and throwing the kid in there didn't help out either.

Married with Children could have went out gracefully but decided to play itself out. I think by the last season all of us die hards were watching other shows. You could even tell FOX was ready to be done with it when they moved it around three times during the last season and canceled talks of doing a finale (as stated during the E! True Hollywood Story).

I am glad they got rid of Seven (the kid from nowhere), he was never needed. I always thought they should have either recasted Steve or left Marci single. It would have been fun watching her go through guys and then finally marry her off in the later seasons. By 1995, you could tell the show was running out of ideas as the shock value was non-existent anymore. At least with Roseanne, the storylines were developed to help the show progress. MWC seemed to go in circles.

I have to give the show credit, it did change the face of television forever.

Well I enjoyed the show all 11 seasons(I even liked season 7) and I think in the last season their was still alot of fans. I just think that Fox didnt give mwc the respect it deserves(on tv nor on dvd)mwc was the show that made Fox what it is and they just canceled them with no final episode? Shame!

Like I said I wish MWC series would have been like seasons 1-6 because they were the real good episodes(their all good to btw) and always seemed to push the limits.
