View Full Version : Why did Alice fall for the guy in the singles bar... Brian Damage 05-11-2007, 08:26 PM ...when he insulted her right off the bat by saying her laugh was creepy?!? Ireneparalegal 05-11-2007, 11:48 PM He actually said her laugh was "naughty"...now, what does that mean? what was he implying? Tell me Brian  I haven't a clue. This episode had a funny scene cut out (what else is new)...when the girls first arrived at the bar, they talked abt where they would sit, together, etc. Also they cut out the part where that very short guy approached Flo and came onto her. I believe he also came onto Alice when she was at the bar stool sitting. But, it was all cut out. They also cut out the scene at the diner where the girls made fun of Mel being at the singles bar. Oh ok, I misheard...but still, that was a little too strong for somebody you just meet. I noticed that little guy with the big 70's porn mustache. LOL Yeah, that guy was the midget! Too bad those scenes with him were cut out. I agree with you, I don't think I would have accepted a drink from a man who told me that. Simply because I don't get what it means. Does he mean that her laugh sounds like something a woman would do in bed?  Brian Damage 05-12-2007, 08:42 PM Yeah, that guy was the midget! Too bad those scenes with him were cut out. JAlanRuss72 05-12-2007, 09:05 PM I never liked the Greg character, he gave me the creeps-lol. He became more of a steady boyfriend of Alice's in seasons 4, 5 and 6 if I recall. A very odd character. Are you serious?!? Did he play the same character or a different one? JAlanRuss72 05-12-2007, 09:21 PM Well, he had the same name and was dating Alice. I think he was suppose to be at least VERY similar to the Greg she met in the bar, but they never mentioned him trying to date Flo and Vera again. He was still a teacher/coach (can't remember), but he was on alot in seasons 4 and 5. He seemed like a creepy guy to me-lol Brian Damage 05-12-2007, 10:26 PM Well, he had the same name and was dating Alice. He appears a few times in the 3rd and 4th seasons (don't know if his last name was mentioned any other time in those seasons) and the last time (in the 7th season), it's Greg Chandler.
