Only a few come to mine..

Lisa Marie Kimmels mom has come here quite often

The Woman attacked at the rest stop in New Hampshire made a post stating she believed a guy who committed suicide was the man who attacked her years ago.

Mary Morris' co-worker had numerous threads claiming his innocance and even offering rewards for finding the real killer. Then some of Mary Morris' family came on and they had words back and forth. I think the thread got pulled.

Also awhile back we had someone who was getting married to a guy (i can't recall his name) who was convicted of killing someone. His case was profiled on UM when he escaped jail. Even though he was convicted to life behind bars the lady came on here to tell her how wonderful he is and how he is innocent of the crime.

I know there have been others...anyone??

Albert Leon Fletcher is the inmate that you're referring to; he's the one that the poster married. I remember reading some of her threads talking about how he was planning on adopting her children and everything. Interesting.

Don't forget about our good buddy Paul Pollis. :D

I have heard from several people on YouTube. Including...

*The niece of Kenneth Griffith - one of the ATV riders who was murdered

*The friend of Norman Ladner - the same guy that posted here I believe

*One of the Kelsay daughters who lived in the haunted house in Fish Springs, Nevada - She was laughing over seeing her dad in his underwear and how much she loved that house.

*Theresa Hobbs - the younger sister of Kathy Hobbs. She said Kathy's killer WAS captured.

*An old neighbor of Angela Hammond - She said Angela's mother STILL lives on the corner of her block in Clinton, Missouri.

*The cousin of Sally McNelly - asking if I could send her a copy of the segment.

*A friend of Rick Adams - Adams went out with Tammy Leppert the night before she vanished.

And just last week I got a private message from Joyce McLain's sister Wendy. Apparently, her daughter came across the Unsolved Mysteries segment on YouTube and told her. Here's what it said....

Hi, Just viewed my sisters unsolved mysteries case on your you tube page, my youngest daughter told me about it, been a while since I have watched it and brings back all those feelings, they never actually go away, just try to keep them under control, hurt and pain is alot to carry around but we have no choice, just want u to know I use to love this show and had tryed to find updates etc. but online was unlucky until now.......ty and oh, by some comments left bout video, there are sure some IGNORANT people out there, not being mean, but if not living in my shoes or anyone elses going through the "NOT KNOWING" can never understand, and by the way, I'm Wendy from the video, my sis was Joyce Mclain...murdered 1980, behind SCHENCK HIGH SCHOOL.

Here is what she posted -

"I'm Kathy Hobbs sister. I just want to let you all know Kathy's killer was found. His name was Micheal Lockhart. He was a serial killer who killed at least 5 other women and a police officer. He was put to death years ago in Texas. He verbally confessed, and the evidence proved it, but he would not sign the confession. That's why it's still an open case."

Very interesting. I did some reading up on him and he was a drifter and is known to have killed 3 people total in Indiana, Florida and Texas. There was no mention of Kathy Hobbs and he said before he was executed he only killed 3 people (after earlier boasting he had killed 2 dozen). By evidence do you mean dna? I'm just curious and I hope for Kathy's family's sake he was the killer and is now gone but I also wondered if he was one of those prisoners who claimed to have committed every single unsolved murder out there for the attention and then later recant. I wonder if there was ever any evidence of him being in Las Vegas at the time of her murder.

As for Rob Shafer, if you've read the Hammond boards, you'll know that I am a very solid supporter of Shafer, also claiming that he seemed sincere and VERY distraught. I'd just like to hear his story again. Maybe UM left some stuff out.

In the last couple of days, I have heard from a few more people on "the bad sight."

Chief Robert Hamrick's granddaughter posted and said STILL there has not been an arrest for his murder.

And the grandson of Judith Smith - She and her two daughters were murdered by Joe Smith as you recall. Joe Smith also trying to murder the owner of their Nevada house, Frank Allen but he escaped by running through the glass on his front door... one of the creepiest segments ever shown. Anyway, he's 24 years old now and he mentioned that there's a slight possibilty that Joe may be released but there's not much information at the moment. He said he would send me the information as it becomes available... but you HAVE to think there's no way he could be released. He strangled and blungened 3 women to death with a hammer for GOD's sake.

hey, thanks!

Alan is da Man!, yeah that would be cool if he posted here and told us more about the "hauntings".

Jule Caylor? Well, Jule is one-of-a-kind, that's the best way to describe him. I recently started a thread about him, and there's been several others, so if you do a search you should come up with plenty. He's got really unique-shaped eyes, and speaks in such a way that he would make Ben Stein seem enthusiastic. Most of us are relatively certain he killed his wife Dottie, even though he had the nerve to talk about how horrible it was living with her, and "having her disappear the way she did."

The salad story is a great story. He got kicked out of a Wendy's on the west coast for creating a huge mess at the salad bar. Most people would just let that go, but Jule decided to write an 8 page letter to the manager talking about what a wonderful salad maker he is, and included a picture of a spectacularly put-together salad. I joked that the picture would make a great avatar.

btw, I've never known anyone to get kicked out a Wendy's, although I'm certain Jule could find a way.

We've also been very blessed to have Jeremy Bright's mother and sister post here and share a lot of good information and insight on his case that was never disclosed in the UM segment.

It's so very kind of the relatives of victims to open their hearts to us. It must be difficult to bring up such difficult memories. I hope they know that even with the passage of time, we haven't forgotten their loved ones.

Oh we can all dare to dream, right? "I was a CO-incidence!" And I couldn't figure out who the Jule Caylor guy was until I read that he was married to Dottie and the name Dottie jogged my memory. Oh man was he ever a tool! "My life is better now that she is gone." He reminds me of that guy from Michigan who was eventally put in jail for killing his wife and putting her in the garage in a plastic drum. He went on TV (while she was still missing) and basically said, "Yeah I miss her but geez she was working so much and neglecting me and the kids!" What a classy guy. Your wife is missing (and YOU KILLED HER) but before that little fact has come to light you criticize her on the nightly news.

The woman who was the real "Cindy" of the "I love you Cindy -GW" spraypainting in the Cynthia Anderson case posted here. She was able to inform us that the spraypainting, in fact, had nothing to do with Cynthia Anderson, but rather was something her boyfriend (initials "G.W.") would do for her all over town, and the wall at the strip mall at issue was visible from her apartment, I believe. She had apparently provided this information to the police 20 years ago, after the first UM segment, but they had never released it, and instead had allowed the maintenance man at the strip mall who had the initials "GW" remain a suspect (at least in the minds of the public) in Cynthia's disappearance until his death a few years ago.

Yeah, that was disgusting and disturbing! The behvavior of the PD went way beyond some inept cop goofing things up or the police bungling that part of the case. The PD had a motive in letting the maintenance man, GW, live under suspicion for so long. Part of the motive was probably to cover their own butts while letting an innocent guy take the heat. Unbelievable!

A few more...

Someone who was related to Michael Scott Martin - I thought the poster was an in-law - someone in their family married Martin semi-recently.

We've had a few posters who claimed to know Larry Race. I remember a couple posts years ago - one by a law student who said they watched the whole trial. Another post by someone who worked in the rehab side of the criminal justice system and said they knew Larry in prison, and this person believed that Larry was innocent. Impressive that someone in CJ would hold such an opinion.

Although I'm not sure if she has posted here, I was recently contacted by a relative of Dottie Caylor through my website.
