Just a question, i was watching season one again and on "Help Wanted" when don is in the office on the phone talking to that girl, it seems as if he is a playboy and a cheat, and the same with ann on Poor little rich boy. Why did they seem okay with this?

I am guessing it was just a reflection of the time. It was ok and even "manly" to reveal or express a playboy like persona.
