Who do you think is/was the best-looking couple on a sitcom?

My vote is for Donna & Alex Stone on the Donna Reed Show (Donna Reed & Carl Betz). She was classically beautiful and he was movie-star handsome.

Samantha and Darrin Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York) get my vote. EM had that air of classic beauty, elegance, grace and sophistication. DY may not have been "movie star" handsome but he had such a huge heart and even more inner beauty that just shone through. They had so much chemistry and looked so natural together. I loved the Bewitched episodes where they would dress up for all those formal black tie parties. He looked so handsome in his tux and she had all those gorgeous gowns!! That era of sophistication seems to be gone forever. Sigh...

for me personally, and as a caroline in the city fan i'd choose caroline duffy and richard karinsky played by lea thompson and malcolm gets. i think they look great together

In my opinion, I thought that Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden had a special kind of chemistry. They enjoyed working with each other onscreen and it shone through their characters. I enjoy watching them onscreen together. They were and still are beautiful people. ;)

I also liked Phil and Vivian #1 on The Fresh Prince. James Avery and Janet Hubert-Whitten were hot together and believeable as a couple. :eek:

I liked Rob and Laura on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore were just so wonderful and cute together. :)

I also liked Niles and Daphne on Frasier. I don't know why I just thought that David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves were adorable.:)

I liked Darrin and Samantha on Bewitched. I liked both Dick York and Dick Sargeant although Sargeant was a little more cold, I thought they both did a great job. But Elizabeth Montgomery could have had scenes with any man and made it look good. She was beautiful.:)

I also liked Lucy and Ricky, Herman and Lily, Gomez and Morticia, Robert and Amy on Everybody Loves Raymond, Ray and Debra, just so many. There are a lot of great looking onscreen couples out there that I like.

I thought Tootie and Jeff from the Facts of Life were a cute couple.

I have to add Ross and Rachel to this list because no matter how people felt about them as a couple (I personally love them) Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer had unbelievable chemistry. The producers of the show scrapped their original couple Joey and Monica and replaced them with Ross and Rachel because of the chemistry between Jen and David. :D

I have to bump up this thread and add Jason and Maggie Seaver from Growing Pains to this list. Alan Thicke and Joanna Kerns had the most amazing onscreen chemistry and were very believable as their characters. Some people thought they were together in real life because of their onscreen chemistry. They were dear friends in real life which really contributed to what we saw onscreen. Alan Thicke is truly missed.
