Now I have to give Yao Ming a lot of credit now, because this shows me he is making an effort to get better and who better to learn from than the Dream? I just hope the dream can teach the man something

Dream was at game 7 and came in and talked to Yao after the game. The one thing that Yao isn't is lazy and content. He will work hard. When he came back last year after toe surgery he went crazy. Averaged about 27 and 13 for the rest of the season. And before he got hurt this year he as around 27 and 10. The broken bone in his leg slowed him down. He wasn't the same player when he came back. He will never be the Dream. He is not a quick jumper. He will have a hard time getting that important rebound or blocked shot because he doesn't have the "quick-twitch" muscle action. But he does give you 25 a game with a high shooting % and a high free throw %. And any GM that says they wouldn't want that is lying out of his ass.

He still needs to get rid of that lazy FADE AWAY jumpshot, especially when being guarded by a much smaller defender

I would rather he use the jump hook but you have to remember who was working with him the first years of his career. Patrick Ewing. And he was never one for playing aggressively. Pat always shot fade-a-ways. Ecspecially when he was going against Shaq!! Never saw a "supposedly" elite center have his nut sack shrink up more than Ewings everytime he played Shaq!!

If Yaq turns and shots as soon as he gets the ball he hits that fade alot more. It's when he holds the ball and looks for the double team that it gets him out of a sync.

Hakeem needs to teach him a LOT MOVES
