Not that I'm aware of but that might not be a bad idea. If they showed older talk shows like Dick Cavett, Mike Douglas and The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder then I'd be tempted to watch it especially to see all those great musical performances and interviews. Two others I'd like to see but more for curiosity than anything else are The Toni Tennille Show and The Jim Nabors Show

I'm surprised there is not a talk show channel somewhere on cable or satellite. Can't you just see them airing those godawful cheesy '80s reruns of Donahue, Geraldo, Sally Jessy Raphael, and Jenny Jones? What would be worse: the guests, the topics, the hosts, the hairstyles or the clothes??

When I was growing up (say around teenage) I became something of a talk show junkie, pre-internet I must note (by a long way)~ anyway I would love to see a talk show channel. I still find it hard to remember that there are young people who actually don't remember Johnny Carson, to say nothing of Dick Cavett or Steve Allen (and though I remember and liked Allen, his show was before my time as well).

I think it would be fun, and there would be a lot of famous guests to show from the older days. It wouldn't have to consist of trashy shows.

There would be a GOOD talk show rerun channel (Carson, Allen, Griffin, etc.) and then a TRASHY one (Springer, Lake, Jones, Geraldo, Donahue, Raphael, etc.), so things would even out.

Steve Allen was the first host of The Tonight Show. He was pre-Carson and pre-Jack Parr. That was back in the '50s, in the golden era of TV.

I'd like to see soms very rare shows-provided that tapes of them still exist-such as "Pat Boone in Hollywood" [1967-68], and "Here's Barbara" [1969-70].
