And the series of Everybody Loves Raymond DVD releases is now in the home stretch. Season 8 of 9 of this wonderful show is now on DVD, leaving only the final season not on DVD (except the final episode, which was released in 2005). By this point, we were all beginning to wonder when the show would end -- but the show still had another season left.
Everybody Loves Raymond is a show about family. Just…a family that doesn’t necessarily like each other. Ray is an average guy, a sports column writer for Newsday. He is married to Debra (Patricia Heaton), who is constantly at odds with Ray’s overbearing but caring mother Marie (Doris Roberts). Marie is married to Frank –Peter Boyle (who sadly passed away last December). Jealous of Ray’s success is his older brother Robert (Brad Garrett), who is finally married to Amy (Monica Horan).
