I never had the opportunity to met any of them, I written to Micky, Peter, and Davy though.

I met Davy, Peter and Micky in July 1986 in Central Park. They did a softball game called Monkees vs MTV. This is around the time back when the Monkees were popular again when MTV aired their episodes. I don't remember who won the game- I was too happy from seeing them in person. all were gracious and most kind.

oh man lol!! God you are so lucky! man if i ever had a chance to meet the monkees i probley would fanited or something! or just went on talking like a bableing idoit!! i'm telling ya if i had a million bucks i'd probley try and buy it off ya!! i'm that big of a fan!

I never got to meet any of them either, but I would have loved it!

I was very lucky. I was looking at the local newspapere early that morning, NY Daily News when I saw a small piece about them playing a softball game in Central Park. I wanted to go see them so badly, but I knew my father never would have approved so I told him I was submitting my medical records for college and had to travel to NYC. I took the train there to Central Park with my camera-I know I have the pictures somewhere-and I saw the softball game. I got home much later in the afternoon and my father asked why it took so long to submit medical records. I told him I met up with a friend at the college to have lunch and shop. Not good telling fibs like that, but I never got caught and came back with good memories.

I saw Dolenz, Jones, Boyce and Hart at the Empire State Riverboat lounge in 1977. Dad took my to a mantinee early show. That was the first concert I ever seen live in my life. A group named the Laughing Dogs opened for them. I have no pictures of that.
