Which episode was it (shown in the last few weeks) where Hawkeye refers to himself as "Ben Pierce?" I have heard him say "Benjamin Franklin Pierce" a couple of times, but this is the only time I remember just "Ben."

Yes, Hawkeye did call himself "Ben Pierce" once, I think he was impersonating a reporter or a correspondant. I can't remember the name of the episode. Man I hate when that happens. ;) treky 05-11-2007, 01:06 AM I think it was in an episode of "The Alan Alda show" where he blew up some tounge depressors, or something. No, in that episode, the dumbass war correspondant decided to refer to Hawkeye as "Ben," but that's not the episode we're referring to. There was an episode where the great and powerful Hawkeye refered himself as Ben Pierce, which is what we are trying to figure out. HelloLarry 05-18-2007, 01:13 AM I 'think' it was Depressing News. The reporter keeps calling him Ben. Or else, could the one you're thinking of be "Run for the Money" where they are sending the Korean home and Jeffrey Tambour plays the PR guy? Those are the two that come to mind but I think the first one that others have mentioned is the one with "Ben". Pentimento 06-07-2007, 11:11 AM Aside from the episodes mentioned, there was the one where B.J. plans the party for everyone's families, and Hawkeye reads a letter aloud from his father that starts, "Dear Ben". The only time I can recall hearing him refer to himself as "Ben Pierce", though, was in the episode where he plays a joke on Charles in the O.R. and then tries to play a similar joke on himself so Charles will be blamed. Maybe that's the one you're thinking of. |
