If you could go back in time again what year would you pick and why?

I would go to the year 1984 just to see my family happy again and warn them all about the end.

Is this like Quantum Leap where I have to go back to my own lifetime, or anytime? I'd have to think about this one.

I'd go back to November 21, 1963 and warn a certain President to not go for a limo ride through Dallas the next day

For me it's not that far back but I would like to go back to 2003-2004( I know it's 2Years, but they were Great.) I would like to go back to just relive school memories, and other memories.

1979 it ROCKED!!!

Outside of 2002, it was the best year in my life (more for personal reasons).

The mid to late 80s. I was newly married, and all of my loved ones were still here. I look back on those years with such incredible fondness, mixed with some sadness for what will never be again. Those were the days.

Ohhhh wow. 2006 was pretty ****ing AWESOME.

- My first trip to New York City
- Getting back in to the dating scene
- Turning 21
- Realizing what great friends I have
- Meeting this extremely cool guy and hitting it off with him immediately

There were a lot more that happened in '06, but the above were the most memorable for me. :)

The 1970s. I was born at the very end of them (fall of '79) but would've loved to live throughout that era.

1978 (age 17)

Late '60s... because the S.F. Valley was a lot less populated then and I wasn't old enough to enjoy it.

Late 1950s... because I like the '50s!

The Old West, circa 1880... so I could see what it was really like.

March 2006...

Instead of saying I lived in San Diego, I would say, "Oh, I live in North Hills"; and probably be with HIM right now..damn it!!!
Hey, that was when I was in NYC. :D

*sigh* I miss March '06.

Late 40's or anytime during the 50's! Wasn't born until 1987 so I missed out on those great times :).

Ditto. I was alive 2 months of the 70s, but they were a blast. Anyway, I'd go back just to watch TV. And experience the gas crisis. We're in one now; might as well see how the other half lived.

I'd like to observe myself in high school too. Maybe telling my old self all the pain and **** my new self has gone through, I'd change things. Oh well.

I'd also like to go back to the mid 60s and peek in on my dad's family. I have so many questions about events during that time and how they're affecting the present.

There isn't a gas crisis now... there's plenty of gasoline, it's just expensive.

And there really wasn't one back in '73 and '79. How do I know? Because as soon as the price for it went way up, it "suddenly" became widely available again!

I wish I could have been around to experience the 1960's and more of the 1970's. As far as years that I would like to relive. The summer of 1988 was probably my favorite summer and I would love to go black to that time. I would love to see 1996 and 1997 again. 1996 was the year that I adopted Duke and the first half of 1997 was probably the greatest period in my life.

1881, Tombstone, AZ. I would love to have seen the gunfight between the Earps and the Cowboys.

When I went to the Tombstone Western Film Festival in 2005, they had reenactments of those gunfights. It was pretty cool.

I don't believe in looking back on the past. Live each day like it's your last. And have a blast that's my motto.
