She might only have 30 posts but she's been a member here since 2000....That's longer than me. :lol:

i know i heard random rumors started up on this board about that, but nothing has become of it and i dont think anybody should HOPE she is.... but my religious beliefs will clash with others, so i'll try to keep that out of it

Wow! I didn't know Mindy was in "Swing". That was Nell Carter's last movie. I remember seeing reports about it on ET around the time when Nell passed away. I had no idea that Mindy was in it too.

two things. Nell Carter was a wonderful, giving person, who died of complications from several illnesses. her contributions to TV and film will live on.
Second; Mindy Cohn is not a lesbian. She is playing one in a new film. Mindy lives the single life in Los Angeles and said, "still looking for love." in 2004. Given the amount of lesbian sites dedicated to Nancy McKeon and Mindy, the rumor is not surprising, but as far as I know, has no basis.

May I ask if she has ever been photographed with any man that she may have been dating? Has she mentioned any boyfriends in any of the interviews she's had? Have any of the other girls or any newspaper ever spoken about a man in Mindy's life? Just curious.

How do you know that this is a rumor? This entire thread seems homophobic to me. Why in the world would people so vehemently deny that MC is a lesbian? It doesn't make sense. What would be wrong if she WERE a lesbian? By denying it so adamently, you make it sound like it is something bad. If someone said, "she is dating a man in his twenties" or "she lives in a commune" or anything like that (and please do not get picky about my examples---you get the picture), nobody would care. Why do you care if she is a lesbian? I just don't understand this thread.

i don't care if she is a lesbian or not - i just don't think that it is anyone's BUSINESS unless SHE decides to make it an issue, and apparently she has declined to acknowledge this story as true or false, so she obviously has no intention of sharing this portion of her PERSONAL life.

so, just to clarify this further; there is nothing wrong with her sexual orientation - whatever it may be - but the fact that someone is starting rumors and making up stories at her expense is most definitely NASTY.

For the record, there is no "story". Every once in a while people pop up on the internet and claim that one celebrity or another is gay/lesbian. This does not make it a story.

All it makes it is people trying to cause trouble/gossip or be the center of attention. So lets stop discussing the sexual orientation of our favorite actresses on our favorite show and instead lets discuss the show.
