I think she should win. She has amazing vocals and has done well every week. I love her personality too. She's sweet and humble. I like Jordin too, but I think Melinda is much better.

As much as I like Jordin and LaKeisha, Melinda is in another class for sure.

I think they'll all do well though now.

I was even pleasantly surprised at Blake's rendition of Bon Jovi last week. I normally don't like it when they deviate from the original too much, but it was current and done quite nicely.

not at all. she would flop if she won. she's not marketable at all. yeah, vocally, she's talented, but could you really see any of her songs being on mainstream radio? she'd sell poorly, and considering only 2 out of 5 AI winners have really done well (although Daughtry and Clay both did really well and they didn't win), i think Melinda is the last person who they should want to win. IMO, Jordin or Blake should win. i'm not a big Blake fan, but he's contemporary, and would probably sell really well. Jordin is the same, if she takes a Kelly Clarkson route.

Melinda will probably do decently either way (in Adult Contemporary or something) but considering 3 out of 5 AI winners have done poorly, they need someone to sell on Kelly/Carrie levels.

but considering the 2nd, 4th, and 6th placers from last season are all doing better then the winner, winning isn't as much of a title as it was at one time.

I want either her or Blake to win. Those two deserve it, IMO. Maybe Melinda wouldn't sell well, but I can see her making critically-acclaimed albums and winning Grammies for them. Blalinda FTW, yo. :cool:

I love Melinda! I want her to win, but I don't think she'll be a big success or anything. She's too typical, unfortunately.:(
