I already know one thing that will happen: Someone (usually Randy) will comment on how amazing Jordin can sing and she's only 17 years old. :rolleyes: I do like Jordin, but I am a little tired of being reminded of how old she is and how well she can sing at her age. I think Melinda is better than Jordin anyway.

No kidding! Overall, I haven't gotten too excited about the themes this year. And when it was country night, Sanjaya sang "Something To Talk About" by Bonnie Raitt???? I'm absolutely sure that's not country. People could argue that it sounds country or that he gave it a country treatment, but I just didn't go for it. It would have been like someone singing "Oh, Pretty Woman" on the British Invasion night.

This is the BEST theme I've ever seen on the show ever, so I personally cannot wait to see it. Blake'll most likely **** it up beyond belief (beatboxing and disco do NOT match AT ALL, but I know he's gonna try). The ladies shall do great.

Wow...were they told to only sing Bee Gees songs that most people never heard of? Besides Stayin Alive, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?, and You Should Be Dancing, those songs aren't very popular and don't exactly epitomize the Bee Gees, IMO. Where's the How Deep is Your Love? And More Than a Woman? And NIGHT FEVER?!

Melinda #1 - didn't like it. boring and bland. far from her best.

Blake #1 - when you take a risk and try and be unique, it winds up being either really good or really bad. it came out really bad this time.

LaKisha #1 - another bad performance...the melody sounded different then usual. and it was REALLY shrieky. blech.

well this night sucks. hopefully it comes back with Jordin and the second performances.

OMG!!!!!!! Worst season ever. Kristina I agree (and hey, btw). This makes me wish Sanjaya was here to sing Stayin' Alive...it would probably suck vocally but I'd at least be entertained seeing him in an afro wig and Saturday Night Fever costume. LMAO last night was horrible beyond words. Blake and Melinda were disappointing. Lakisha sucked like she mostly does.
