My mom always had words of wisdom about different aspects of life and I never saw her faith in God deviate or waver, no matter what--whether in good or bad times.

My mom was always consistent about her responsibilities in life; I never saw her being lazy or complaining about her lot in life.

My mom made the best coffee of anyone I've ever met. It always came out the same. Great!

1.) I love the way she takes care of me, even though I'm 24 years old. It's nice to know I can still be her little girl.

2.) I love her dry sense of humor.

3.) I love her strength and determination.

I love my Momma :)

My mom is just wonderful. How do I narrow it down to three?

1. She always forgives me for the dumb things I've done in my life (of which there are plenty).

2. She always encourages me.

3. She loves me unconditionally.

:bighug: This one's for you Mom!!

My mother is the greatest person I know, and I have wayy more than 3 things I love about her. If I had to narrow it down:

1. Her sense of humor. Sometimes she makes me laugh hysterically.
2. She is always there for me when I need her, and I feel I can tell her everything. She's my best friend.
3. She is unselfish and always does all she can to help other people. She never puts her own needs before the needs of others.

My mom died two weeks after my sixth birthday, but she left me great and wonderful memories.

I loved her for the love she showed all of us kids. She never spanked us, she never uttered a mean word, she was always loving and giving us hugs.

I loved her for being a wonderful example of a religious lady, a woman who took care of our beautiful home and also worked at one of the businesses my father owned.

I loved her for wanting to adopt me, even though she and my father had agreed that two children was all they wanted. She cried and cried and cried til my father changed his mind.

IN MEMORY OF MY MOTHER WHOSE BIRTHDAY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOMORROW.

I'm so sorry about your mom Irene. :(

My mom's been gone almost five years and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. She was my best friend, had the kindest heart and was the best person I ever knew. She will live in my heart forever. I love you Mom.

I echo Tara's words, Irene. Mother's Day is a bittersweet day for my mom, since HER mom died Mother's Day, May 14, 1995. My siblings and I always try to go the extra mile on Mother's Day to try to take away some of the sting. We all still miss Grandma. There's so much of her in my mom. I hope someday to be even half the woman that they were/are.

What a doll you are.

It seems so many here share the loss of a mother/grandmother. With Mother's Day coming upon us, I hope we all can share that day filled with loving memories and happy thoughts. I miss my mom so much, but I cherish the memories she left behind and pray that I will join her someday.

Yea I wasn't even going to open up this thread because I figured it would get to me. Then I read at the very top what Chad posted and it was like he was talking about my Mom.

My mom also babysits her 11-month-old grandson 5 days a week, sings in the church choir and helps run the Food Pantry. What a lady.

As some of you may know, from a post I wrote last year, my own mom died on Christmas Day, 1998. Those of you on this thread who have lost moms, my heart goes out to you. I know what it feels like.

You are a great group of caring people.

I personally believe that we will be with our loved ones again.

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers June of 2002. And Even though now she is completely gone mentally. I still have so many good memories of her and love her to death. ANd it is hard to see her suffer. But I know that someday she will be in a better place and completely healed.
