Greg probably only had 1 Senior year. Time life in Sitcoms do not always make sense. Hey you could have found another Brady Bunch Blooper.:)

So the last season was really a month or two stretched out over a year. No, Greg didn't graduate until the dead last episode about the hair-brained scheme.

"A few short months" is too broad a term for me to conclude Greg was a senior at the time. I thought he got the attic because of his seniority among the Brady six, not because he was a senior in high school.

No, "a few short months" refers to when he asked about moving out of the house entirely. It was before the attic idea was mentioned, later in the same episode.

I think Greg was a freshman in high school in that episode. Isn't that the one where grabs the girl's book, and offers his to her? She says something about his being a first year book.

And in that episode, doesn't Mike saying something to the effect that the attic is only three feet high?

There have been other discussions on this subject, but that one was the most recent.

One thing's for sure... the writers apparently never read their own notes as to how old any kid was supposed to be in any one season... there's absolutely no way that the series fits together with any consistency with regards to the ages and grades of the kids (I know that there were a lot of different writers, but still....)

Leave It to Beaver also had some inconsistencies in its 6 yrs. on the air. Wally Cleaver was in 8th grade in year one but didn't graduate until the end of year six, so he must have repeated a year somewhere after season 3, when he was in a sophomore history class. Lumpy Rutherford did even worse, starting the show in 11th grade in year one, but not graduating, and barely, 6 yrs. later. Somewhere along the way he fell back to be in that same sophomore history class w/ Wally.

This board is for discussion. We know that the tv world is never in chronological order, there is sometimes inconcsistencies, but if we accepted that, then what is the point of being a member of a board where sitcoms are discussed?

Ok, so be it the writers errored and goofed. But it does make for good discussion to ask, inquire, chop and slice up a show that we all love. How boring it would be around here if we didn't make conversation abt the show. How boring it would be if we always gave the answer, "it was just a tv show" or "it's in the script". Open up your minds and let it flow.

True. But there are always newbies to the board and you can be sure things will be repeated. I know having been a newbie before, making threads that were already done, I never got stung by the members for making a "repeat" thread.

I think you have a great idea in trying to make threads of things that haven't been discussed before. I am sure there is always something that no one has thought of before. I know I look forward to seeing some new ideas on this board.
