i have a friend on myspace who everyone always says is good looking. girls say he is hot and sexy all the time and he gets a lot of picture comments. yet he always complains about how hideous he thinks he is. his about me section says "i'm not hot. i'm hot sexy.." etc. and when someone compliments him he says 'yeah right' or 'ahahaha i wish' or something like that. well if he really thought he was ugly, he wouldn't post pictures for everyone to see. it pisses me off because to someone like me who is not as good looking as him, it offends me that he has to constantly complain about his "ugliness" to get compliments.

i used to do the same thing, but now it really pisses me off when people have to insult themselves just so people will compliment them. is anyone else annoyed by this?

Yeah, it annoys me too when people fish for compliments like that...it's like, why would they even post the picture if they hated how they looked so much? ohno:
