I just don't get it. Nick at Nite completely acts on overnight ratings. The show has been on for 2 days, and already an additional airing, replacing the 2 best shows on Nick at Nite. The show just gets boring after watching it for 10 minutes. Since Moncay, the ratignsw ere probably good because it was new on the network. Just watch: after a few weeks, ratings will die down, and it will get pushed off the schedule. AF is just not a show that does well in latenight, kind of like Full House.

And then there is Fresh prince. I thought we would finally see an end to these marathons, yet I was wrong again. Just stop it already! I am so sick of this show. They show the entire series in just a few days. How much more do we really need?

On the other hand, we still get Murphy/Designing Women, which is good. I'm glad to see Growing Pains off weekends, because that's the only time I can catch it.

What is WRONG with this channel?????????????????? I SWEAR! This is getting absolutely ridiculous. What is the reasoning? Is The N, TBS, AND N@N not enough for TFPoBA? If they had a consistent lineup it would be fine...but they swing things around so much it's a JOKE! Do people actually watch this all night long every weekend? They barely release the May highlights in time and then a day later they change it around. Is this a game to them or something? I think a 3 year old could do better.

Effective Monday, May 7:
Sun-Thurs 12:00AM AFV encore (replaces Cosby Show)
Fri-Sat 1:00AM AFV encore (replaces Growing Pains)

The AFV encores are not happening anymore. Cosby Show has been reinstated to 12am Sun-Thurs. Also, the marathons will now be 1-5am instead of 1:30am-5am, which means Growing Pains is totally gone. FP and Roseanne will switch hours. This all takes in effect on Monday (May 7).

Confused? Here are the changes:

Sun-Thurs
10:00PM Fresh Prince (replaces Roseanne)
10:30PM Fresh Prince (replaces Roseanne)
11:00PM Roseanne (replaces Fresh Prince)
11:30PM Roseanne (replaces Fresh Prince)
12:00AM Cosby Show (reinstated)

Everynight
1:00AM Start of Nightly Marathon (replaces Growing Pains)

Actually, I have mixed feelings about this. Growing Pains is the only bad things-- it sounds just like good old, reliable Nick at Nite *laugh*

Fresh Prince/Roseanne switching hours is great, because now I can fall asleep once again to Roseanne's voice.

Plus, The Cosby Show back on for the hour is great, because I am already growing tired of watching AFV all this week.

Wonder what they'll come up with next week? What is the reasoning behind so many changes? Are the ratings THAT bad?

Not surprising about Growing Pains...and no big surprise they changed the schedule yet again. Another week or 2 and something else will change, I'm sure.

Nick @ Nite really needs to show other shows I don't think the George Lopez show will do very well on Nick @ Nite however I think Home Improvement will do very well this fall!

JulieSomoski

Home Improvement is probably going to be the next Fresh Prince. It is just a show that attracts viewers. George Lopez is just going to be a waste of money to air.

I am so disappointed about Growing Pains! But,I'm looking forward to Home Improvement in the fall.I haven't seen that show in quite a while. :)

Home Improvement is on in the evenings on WGN and TBS, but we'll probably get to see it at least 4 times a night on N@Nite

Well everybody, surprise, surprise, Monday, May 21st, until Sunday, May 27, is another week long marathon of Fresh Prince. It airs every day that week from 9:30-5:00am. At 9 is still AFV, at 5:00am is DW/MB, and at 5:30 is Full House.

since it's really difficult to follow nick at nite's schedule, considering it literally changes every week, i just tune in at 12:30 once adult swim comedy switches and watch whatever's on then..usually it's cosby.

Am i the only one who hates the cosby show? I hope when Family Matters and Home Improvement comes to N@N they will take off cosby and full house

JulieSomoski

By 2008, The Cosby Show will be off NAN and entirely onto TVLand (it is currently transitioning onto TVLand). Also, his September, the contract for Full House ends, and considering Home Improvement is coming at that time, it is unlikely that it will be renewed.

A Nick at Nite change (yes, what else is new?)...Roseanne will return to Sun-Thurs 10-11PM now and Fresh Prince will move back to Sun-Thurs 11PM-12AM starting May 28. Fresh Prince will still air 11PM-12AM on Fri-Sat.

Not that I do not like Rosanne, but I have gotten so burnt out on shows like Roseanne, Fresh Prince (which I was never a fan of, but gave it a try), and TCS. These shows have over taken N@N. Regardless of schedule changes it seems no matter what I can find one of those shows on at any given late night hour.

Are there any schedule changes to add new shows/existing shows like Growing Pains, Designing Women or other shows they have rights to into a spot for a marathon (if they insist on having marathons) instead of rotating the same 3 shows?

I am trying not to complain to much but have to be honest that I am a bit disgusted and have stopped watching N@N all together due to being burnt out on the same shows being repeated endlessly. It seems every time I turn around Fresh Prince is having a weekend marathon and then its back to some weeklong marathon of the same three shows tirelessly being repeated.

You should complain. I enjoy watching Fresh Prince, Roseanne, and The Cosby Show (they are all some of my favorite shows), but I am just tired of seeing them every night, all night on Nick at Nite. These 3 masy be my favorites, but so are Murphy Brown, Mad About You, Growing Pains, and A Different World. I just don't understand why they can't give these shows a daily slot, even if its at like 12 or 1am.
