In Lucy Wins a Racehorse on the LDCH, lucy enters everyone and their brother in the contest. when ethel asks lucy exactly how many boxes she sent in and she opens all the doors and the refridge. has anyone ever noticed that earlier in the scene when ethel and lucy are talking you can see that the oven is FULL with Corny Krinkle boxes...the later on when they find out that they won the contest, and they are all in the kitchen, the boxes are gone. Funny thing though is that when lucy is opening all the doors to show how many boxes she bought, she never opens the oven! This is one of my fav. ldch eps and one of my top Five ILL shows and have seen it hundreds of times and have never noticed this.

Yes, I noticed the oven immediately! Then she never opened it and later they were gone.

Another interesting note: The Korny Krinkles boxes are the same ones they use for Wakey Flakies on "Lucy Wants a Career." :lol:

They look like the same cereal boxes the Kramdens had on the first color Honeymooners when Ralph entered the contest to win the trip to Europe!

I'd like to check this out but I don't have the color episodes. I just have the Classic 39.

When I have a chance I'll dig out my DVD and take a second look and post it here if indeed the boxes do match!
