The sad and weird thing about this article is it's people I actually know well!! This family has been our longtime family friend since before the 20-year-old girl (going on 21 in August) was born. The wife is having anxiety attacks about all of this going on. Bad decisions! ohno:

A longtime mail carrier and his adult daughter have been charged with dealing drugs out of their northwest Albuquerque home.

Investigators say they found $10,000 worth of cocaine in the home of 48-year-old Paul Herrera and his 20-year-old daughter Monica.

“It’s a real shock,” said Diane Mares, one of the neighbors. “You never think somebody next door is going to come out with ghosts in the closet like that. We were really shocked. We were really surprised.”

Monica Herrera has been suspended from her job working with the Westside YMCA. Paul Herrera has been on leave from his job at the postal service but he remains on the payroll.

That's some crazy story and they don't look like the type. You just never know with people.

Thank you so much, guys.

I still cannot believe that Paul and Monica chose to go through such a wrong path. I just helped Monica fix and scan her old 1999 computer over at their house back in early March or so.

I know that the wife and mom, Cathy, has been under a lot of anxiety since the arrest happened early yesterday morning. I have no idea what is going to happen to Paul and Monica. I would have expected Monica to have gotten into trouble because she's been in jail for speeding tickets in the past, and she CAN be such a level-headed young lady. I am more shocked about Paul getting involved. Bad, bad decisions. :(
